I have been looking for a supplement to help my husband get more intake of vegetables. It’s the least of favorite of his food category. But he is going through some medical treatment and we wanted to make sure we could find a way to improve his diet without forcing him to eat a ton of vegetables.
This has been a lifesaver for us. We put it in our fruit smoothies in the morning every other day. You can also drink it by itself in the packet. You would think it taste really bad, especially for somebody who doesn’t like vegetables. But because the formula has added lemon and citrus flavors, it helps mass the flavor quite well.
We suggest adding it to a fruit smoothie first if you don’t like vegetables. Once you get used to the flavor, drinking it by itself is no problem at all. Don’t give me wrong, it’s gonna taste like vegetables because that’s what it is and it’ll change the color of your smoothie. But the added lemon and citrus flavor really makes it taste quite good. If you’re not sure you want to commit to an entire box, you can always go to a health store like Sprouts or Whole Foods and buy one pack to try. We went into one of those stores first to try it out. In fact they were willing to give us two free packs as samples. After that, we were hooked!
